East Turlock Neighborhoods to Check Out If You're Thinking About Moving

If you're thinking about settling down in Turlock and want to be close to great schools, parks, and everything the east side has to offer, you’ve got some awesome neighborhoods to choose from. East Turlock is known for its peaceful vibe, quiet atmosphere, and so many custom homes. Here are a few of my favorite neighborhoods in East Turlock to keep on your radar:

1. Peacock Ranch Estates

Why you’ll love it:
This neighborhood feels tucked away, but it’s still right in the heart of East Turlock. The homes are mostly custom-built, giving the area a more upscale and unique feel. You’re super close to top-rated schools like Walnut Elementary and Turlock Christian, and just down the street from parks and walking paths. It's perfect for families looking for a quiet, polished place to settle down.

2. Sierra Meadows

Why you’ll love it:
If backyard BBQs and space for kids or pets to run around are high on your list, Sierra Meadows might be your spot. The lots are generous, and the backyards are some of the biggest you’ll find in East Turlock. Plus, you're literally steps from Turlock High and Julien Elementary—ideal if you're trying to cut down on that school drop-off traffic.

3. Pleasant Valley Estates

Why you’ll love it:
This is one of those neighborhoods where every home has its own personality. No cookie-cutter vibes here—just custom, beautifully maintained homes on peaceful streets. It's walking distance to Bristol Park (hello, weekend playdates or evening walks) and just a couple minutes from R.A.M. Farms, which means fall corn mazes and winter ice skating are basically in your backyard.
